What better day to support your local community and stop by your favorite thrift shop than on National Thrift Shop Day?
In honor of the special holiday on Friday, August 17, all six Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes will offer savings of 25 percent off storewide, plus double punches on store loyalty cards. Each shop will also be holding a drawing for store gift certificates and other prizes.
“This day is more than a special sale,” said Gulfside CFO Allison Maughn. “We are honoring the initial purpose of the Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes – to help people in need. It’s not only about offering a way to purchase things at a lower cost, it’s about supporting a charitable organization, like Gulfside Hospice, and supporting the community where we live.”
Every purchase made at the six Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppes makes it possible for patients in Pasco County with life-limiting illnesses to receive compassionate care. Shops are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and closed on Sundays. Donations of gently used clothing, household items, electronics and more are always welcome.
Gulfside Hospice Thrift Shoppe locations include Dade City at 37925 Sky Ridge Circle; Hudson at 12154 US Highway 19 in Bayonet Point; Lutz at 1930 Land O’Lakes Blvd.; New Port Richey at 6117 State Road 54; and Zephyrhills at 36524 State Road 54, and the Zephyrhills Furniture Shoppe at 36504 State Road 54.
