Child Health and Safety Day

The Kiwanis of Greater West Pasco will be having a Child Health and Safety Day at Starkey Park Saturday September 13 from 10am-2pm. It is free. We will have local Police/ Fire/Sheriffs on hand along with doctors, Dentists, MADD, The Red Cross and other organizations. There will also be demonstrations of Dance, gymnastics, and karate. Volunteer Drivers Urgently Needed
for ACS’s Road to Recovery Program
Cancer patients from your community need your help to get to chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The American Cancer Society’s Road to Recovery program is in need of volunteers who are willing to drive cancer patients to and from their life-saving cancer treatments. Schedules are very flexible. Training, maps and directions are provided to those who want to volunteer their time. Requirements include having a safe driving record, a valid driver’s license and a vehicle that is in good working condition. The Carrollwood Cultural Center
is Looking for Musicians and Singers

Dust off your band instruments and start singing in the shower! The Carrollwood Cultural Center (CCC) is currently organizing an adult concert band under the direction of Helen Michaelson and a chorus under the direction of Mary Ann Scialdo. Both groups will meet starting Monday, September 15th from 7:00pm-8:30pm at CCC. Anyone wanting to play in a traditional band or sing in a choral group is welcome. There will be no charge for the two groups and membership in CCC is encouraged.
