The Pasco County Chapter of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) offers two types of support group meetings each month, one for those living with mental illness and another for family and friends of those with mental illness. NAMI Basics

NAMI Basics is a 6 week FREE education program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescents ages 17 and under living with mental illnesses. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings beginning October 10 through December 6 (no class during Thanksgiving week). Class time is 6:00 pm to 8:30pm at the Medical Center of Trinity Behavioral Health (West Campus), 5637 Marine Parkway, New Port Richey, Florida 34652. Spooky Tails Halloween Party

Each year, Parwick Kennels hosts The Spooky Tails Halloween Party & Pet Costume Contest to raise funds for the Pasco County K-9 Unit Retirement Fund. This is the 11th year. The event will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 from noon until 4pm at 22129 Carson Dr. in Land O’Lakes. The pet costume contest will take place at 1:30pm. There will be a K-9 demonstration, a silent auction, and vendors. Texas Roadhouse and Uptown Pizza & Subs will have food on hand for purchase. Pasco Tax Collector Partners With Florida Breast Cancer Foundation

During the month of October, the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation will be the featured charitable giving organization at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office. The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation’s main objectives are to advocate on behalf of patients, educate the public on all aspects of breast cancer, and to provide funds for research seeking new treatments and ultimately a cure for breast cancer. Concert at Grace Lutheran

Grace Lutheran Church at Carrollwood will be presenting An Afternoon with the Classics on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 4:00pm. The concert will feature Corinne Bach, Soprano, Lisa Katt Watson, Soprano and James Sawyers Jr. on organ and piano. Musical selections include the works of J.S.
